Solar Strategy Australia was started by a local father of two who couldn't believe how much fear, misinformation and spin surrounds home solar and batteries. The industry has plenty of honest, well-meaning people but sometimes their well-intended input is misguided. It also has businesses selling families things they don't need, at prices they shouldn't have to pay.
After sitting down with six different salespeople, one pattern stood out. They all asked for my electricity bills, but not to tailor the system to me. The bills were there to make the pitch feel personal, so it was easier to upsell a bigger battery or extra panels I didn't need.
So I built the tools I wish I'd had. The idea is simple: take the facts from your own bills, and give you facts back.
